The ILA App offers ILA workers unprecedented access to information and resources. It serves as a valuable tool for staying connected and informed about the maritime industry. Through the ILA App, workers have access to relevant industry news, media, safety publications, and more.
One of the key features of the ILA App is the ability to view upcoming work and receive notifications. Workers receive push notifications whenever their Local posts details about upcoming work, including gangs, jobs, terminals, docks, companies, and vessels. This ensures that workers stay up-to-date with the latest work opportunities.
The ILA App also provides information about Local Officials, Executive Boards, and Committees. Users can easily find contact information for their Local's leadership, fostering better communication and engagement.
Access to Local governance documents is another valuable feature of the ILA App. Workers can stay informed about their Local's Constitution & By-Laws, Hiring Hall rules, and Work rules.
The app also allows users to print out Local forms, saving time by providing convenient access to necessary paperwork. Forms can be easily printed and submitted to the Local as needed.
Tracking work logs is made simple with the ILA App's Work Log feature. Workers can manually log their daily hours and pay, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
Timesheet information can also be easily checked through the app. Workers have access to four different views (Contract, Calendar, Monthly, and Daily) to verify that they are being paid correctly for their hours worked.
For workers with certifications, the ILA App offers a feature to track certification expirations and requirements. Notifications are sent 90, 60, 30, and 7 days prior to a certification's expiration date.
In addition, some workers can view their Container Royalty progress and work hours history. This feature allows workers to ensure they meet the requirements to receive a Container Royalty check.
